Photographed on October 1, 2009. During the previous night the first heavy autumn snow closed the Beartooth Highway for the season. The Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River flows through this valley which is flanked by the Beartooth Mountains to the north and the Absaroka Range to the south. View towards the southeast.
